Jalaun Schultz

Expressive floral artist that loves a bold palette, vibrant colours and joyful exuberant compositions.

Jalaun Schultz never imagined she’d become an artist. Growing up, art wasn’t even an option at her school, and she pursued a degree in law at Stellenbosch University instead. That moment came in her early forties when she stepped away from full-time work to help her husband in his wine business while raising their two children. With a little more time on her hands, she realised that if she didn’t at least try to paint, she might regret it forever. Jalaun threw herself into the world of painting, absorbing everything she could about techniques, textures and materials. Without formal training, she experimented and explored, finding her own expressive style along the way. For her, art is more than just a creative outlet – it’s a passion, a calling, and a way to truly be herself.
